KB and Avah in town

My friend KB and her daughter, Avah, were in town for a short visit. We jam packed it full of fun. 

First, we went to Crown Center to see a play at the Coterie, but it was sold out. We saw the model trains and played in the green super hero exhibit instead. 

Penny fell asleep and her mom didn't bring a stroller. We took turns holding her. 

Next, Ollie wanted to take Avah to the Nelson art museum which is one of his favorites. 

They had a glass labyrinth set up that was tricky for Ollie. He hit his head twice. 

Finally, we went to Kidscape at the Johnson County history museum. It was really fun and free. 

Lo, Junie, and Aunt B joined us. 

We tried to eat and play outside - it was COLD and rainy. We played a bit in the wet skatepark. 

West Virginia is too far away! They need to live closer. 

Tulsa Aquarium

Ginny was going to take us to the zoo, but it was too hot. We decided to go see the fish instead.

The turtles were full, so no carrots for them today.

We headed to OK for Independence Day and a visit. Erica came down with her new kitten, Pringles. 

Penny and Ollie were in love. Ollie was very snotty from Pringles - he is allergic to cats. 

We set up Erica's slip-n-slide and the pool. 

The kids' favorite pool game was to toss grapes or veggies in for them to eat. Just like the zoo. 

JJ smoked ribs. Penny ate two. 

It is hard to see but there is a Penny way out past the run way. She was hanging out with Dick, and she decided she wanted to pick flowers. She was off like a shot.

Bikes with the Kerrs

Ollie wanted to bike with Hannah Kerr, so we set up a play date. Penny can't even trike yet (she is too short), but she still had fun with Olive. 

The stream at Franklin Park turned on, so everyone was happy.
