First Snow!!

Well eventhough the wind chill was -15 degrees, Ollie went out to play twice. First, Ollie, Mama, and Daddy went out and walked around. We tried to make snow angels, but it was really cold. Then, AuntBLoloUncleJeff (not a typo - it is said as one word), came over to SLED! The Dads took turns pulling them around the yard. Ollie was outside for a told of 20 minutes, but it was the highlight of his day. I can't wait for a real heavy, wet, not-so-cold snow!

Fever and a Tree

Yesterday, Ollie had an exciting day. He spent the afternoon with Uncle Jeff while the moms went shopping. Then, we went home and picked out our tree. By 7:30, Ollie was running a 105 degree fever. We had to go to Children's Mercy. They told us it was a virus. He is home resting today. The artwork was created while super-hot Ollie was in a cool bath. It is the bathtub wall - pretty good for being so feverish!

Belated Visit update

Grandma JJ and G.G. Aunt Ginny came to visit. Ollie had so much fun. He went to zoo and was not afraid to ride the train (as he has been for months). He now is OBSESSED with Frosty the Snowman, and our house is fully decorated for Thanksgiving. (Even though, Ollie keeps taking down the turkeys - because "Halloween is over") Ollie cried when he realized they were gone!

More Painting

Please visit Lotus Land under links to see more pics of Ollie in his underwear painting with LOLO! They had such a messy, good time.

Painting with Daddy

The Artists were home today, because Ollie has been running a high fever for 5 days. He is being tested for mono - poor guy! He was feeling better today, and Daddy got out the paints. They painted several large sheets of paper. Then, Wes taught Ollie how do squeeze paint in between folded sheets of paper to make a picture. After they dried, Wes drew the chickens on these two peices. When he showed them to Ollie, Ollie said "they came to life".
