Day with Rupert

So we had a dog for about 24 hours. He was really cute and old and deaf. Ollie loved him, but was not sad when he went home (because Lo was over and he was too busy). He never barked or went potty inside. He just walked around looking cute. We really don't need a dog. Penny dumped his water bowl several times and HAIR everywhere. We named him Fizzgig, but his real name is perfect.

Okla-weekend

JJ and Popcorn's home addition is coming along.  The kids liked playing in the sand they will use for the mortar.

Sitting with JJ eating cranberries.  Yum!
Wow!  Bo is getting big.  Penny is whining right this second, because she misses Bo.

An Explanation of Penny's Appearance

 1) Penny's Outfit:  This sweatsuit was purchased in an effort to make Aunt B laugh.  Beth and I have a deal that when we are "old" we will wear nothing but similar sweat suits, have big hair, and ricdiculous nails.
2) Penny's face:  Penny took her first big tumble down the front steps the other day, and has a big scrape down her nose.  She should be fine in a week or so.

Both 1 and 2 made for interesting Easter pictures.  My family informs me that I am supposed to put her in a frilly dress for Easter.  Maybe next year (or maybe next year her and Ollie can be Batman and Robin for Easter).

Easter at Mimi and PopPop's House

Penny has started calling Grammy, Mimi, so it is kind of confusing.  Here they are hunting for eggs (their second hunt of the day).

It was a perfect sunny day, so we took a rare family photo.  The one above is cute, the one below is hilarious.  Check out Ollie's face and Penny is eating a chocolate with the foil on.

Easter at Our House

Ollie loves holidays, and he was more than ready for Easter.  He loved making dinosaur Easter eggs (even though he can't eat them).
GAK gave us some confetti eggs to smash on each other's heads.  Penny just liked to crack them open.  We realized our mistake after we let her go through about a half dozen.  She now thinks she can do this with ANY egg.

The Easter bunny delivered some goodies for the kids, and yes, my daughter is in Halloween jammies.  They are super comfy and glow in the dark.

The hunt is on!  Ollie was by far the victor.  Penny didn't want to do anything but walk around.  No basket for her.
No one wanted the slug egg!
