Happy Family Day

Saturday Morning, Ollie woke up and told me he would like to invent a holiday.  First, he decided it was Ollie Day.  I said no - everyday is Ollie day.  Then, he suggested Family Day, but Saturday was Family day Eve.  Today is the offical first Family Day.  Thing to do during the Family Day holiday:
1. Family Day Eve breakfast is pancakes.
2. Family Day lunch is sandwiches, carrots, and broccoli.
3. You must make Family Day cookies - Ollie decided on that pumpkin cookies are the offical cookie. (We have never had them before)
4. The big part - the Family Day fairy will leave a present on your bed while you are downstairs watching Turbo Dogs with your dad and mommy is putting baby to bed.

We have completed all Family Day events but the final.  We shall see if the fairy comes tonight and post pics.  All components of Family Day were created by Ollie.  (I think he is having post-Christmas let down).

He-baby

Penny sees anything with a face and assumes it is a baby.  Here she with one of Wes's He-mans.  If you listen you can hear her making sucking sounds, because the He-man is eating his bottle.  The bottle is another action figures fist (dismembered from it's body), but it has a little nub right on end that looks like a nipple.  Hilarious!

Penny is 11 months

Only one month to go until the big ONE YEAR!.  Penny is a very happy baby.  She is walking and trying to run.  She still has 4 teeth and puts everything in her mouth.  Ollie was missing 2 small Star Wars guys, and sure enough - they were in Penny's mouth.  She loves babies and pretends to feed and rock them.  She points and wants everything she sees.  She loves books and will go get one of her favorites - and say "boo" and hands it to you so you will read it.  We read a lot.  Her favs are still her brother, popcorn, mommy (and sometimes daddy), toothbrushes, and Baby Bruce.  She says more, Mama, Dada, book, baby Bruce, and clucks like a chick.  She is a very huggy baby!

Sleepover

Last weekend, Lolo and Ollie had a sleepover party at our house.  We blew up a bed in the living room.  They watched Little People and ate fluff-r-nutters in bed.  Lolo said she had fun, but didn't want to live with us.  Come over again soon, LO!
