Fossil Hunt

Ollie decided he wanted to be a fossil hunter.  He enlisted the help of PopPop, Aunt B, Daddy, and Lolo.  We went to Indian Creek by my parent's house where we found a lot of fossils - mostly small ocean life.  They were really hard to get out of the rocks, but we found lots of sea shells on the bank that were easy to collect.  Hopefully, we will fossil hunt again soon.

Best Friends

Have I mentioned that my kids like each other?  As a side note, Penny's nickname is Pink Alice.  Can you see why we would call her Pink?

Mobile Obsession

Penny loves this mobile.  I made her one with felt, but it doesn't light up or move.  She will watch is one and smile and laugh.  We wonder what she is thinking about as she watches it.

Brother and Sister

Ollie loves Penny.  He is always wanting to hold her and hug her.  He asked for this photo shoot, and it came out great.  What a pair!

First Zoo Trip

This March has been like summer time, so we decided to take Ollie and Penny to the zoo.  Ollie had fun in the Discovery Barn and on the Merry-go-round, but Penny slept through most of it.

Uncle Tyler's Visit

Wes's brother came to see Penny and Ollie recently.  He has not made it to KC since Ollie was born, so it was great to have him here.  The hightlight (for Ollie... or maybe Tyler) was reading some original Gremlins books with matching Gizmo doll.

One Month!

Penny is one month old!  Time goes really fast.  She is now free from the spinal-tap fever threat that her  mom was constantly worried about.  She smiles when people talk to her.  She is also getting quite chubby - which we love.  Our buddy, Ollie, is much past 3, but I forgot to take his picture.  Better late than never.  He is up to so much including creating recipes (water soup), jumping until he is sick on the trampoline, standing on snakes (by accident), and loving his family of 4.  Here is Ollie at 1 month!
