Alpaca Show

Yes, that is exactly what it sounds like. We went to the American Royal to see the Mopaca Alpaca show. Ollie's mom is hooked! She is now scheming ways to get some land, so she can have her own alpaca herd. Let me know if you have any ideas.

No paternity test needed

I was going through erasing pics that were no good and almost erased this one. Then I paused to look at it. Whoa - those 2 look alike! From their chin to their nose!

Toy Story on Ice

My wonderful teaching partner, Jana, asked her hubby for tickets to Disney on Ice with Toy Story (he's a ticket manager). It was SO much fun! Ollie says "Yeah, I wanta go to that one again!" We did not tell him until we were in the Sprint Center, so it was a big surprise. Thanks Winkelbauers!

Spike

This is an example of a toddler that wants to play haircut (because he just had one) plus a mother that is on pain meds equals crazy hair fun.

Happy St. Patrick's Day

GAK sent us a package full of fun! It was all the components for making a leprechaun trap. Ollie and Wes put it together with care and waited painstackingly to catch one tiny Irishman. Here is a video of Ollie explaining how it works while eating a shamrock cookie from Grandma JJ. On St. Pat's morning, the little green guy got away, but left Ollie a bunch of treats. Better luck next year, Ollie!

More Hospital Blah

Ollie's mom had another abdominal surgery and had to spend the night at the hospital. Ollie did not like his mommy being hooked up to tubes. Doc says I look good and this should be it for awhile or (hopefully) ever! We managed to have fun with puke shoots as hats.

Is it Spring?

We kidnapped Lolo yesterday for a playdate. We went to the park, had a rock band, had some green popcorn at Velvet Creme, Red Mango frozen yogurt, and dance-y danced the day away. We are all ready for spring and playing outside.

Anniversary

Wes and I celebrated our 4th anniversary by going to Hibachi Japanese Steakhouse. We had to take Ollie, because we thought he would love it. NO! He liked the food, but he was really afraid of the fire. He asked the chef several time - "no more fire actually". Next year, we are leaving him with Aunt B!

Crown Center Fun

We spend a family fun night on the town. Our goal was not spend a single cent! We packed some sandwiches and played at Crown Center's free underwater adventure. They are getting an aquarium next year. Then, we window shopped at the toy store and Crayola store. Finally, we went to Petsmart, but we spend $0.33 on a new shrimp for Ollie's aquarium. Almost made it!
