Peace Out February!

This has been a LONG month for our house. Ollie has been in and out of the doctors too many times to count. We now suspect that he might be allergic to more than eggs. The stomach flu got all 3 of us. I had a surgery on an abdominal tumor - super fun. Wes's parked car was hit by a neighbor's friend. It was going to be a hit and run, but our trusty (nosey) neighbor, Patty, came to our rescue. The weather has been the pits! We are ready for fresh spring and fresh starts. Without our families' help this last month, we would be toast! Thank you so much JJ, Ginny, Grammy b, Pop Pop, Aunt B, Uncle Jeff, Lolo, GAK, and EVERYONE. We love you all!

Happy Valentine's Day

Due to sickness, Ollie was unable to send his Valentine's out this year. This is his Valentine message. It is a nursery rhyme called Jack a Dandy. It is his favorite because it has candy. The words:
Handy Spandy Jack-a-Dandy
Loves plum cake and sugar candy
Bought some at the grocery shop
And out he came Hop, Hop, Hop

Snow day part 2

Okay, we really had 3 snow days, but they got blurred together. The 3 of us had a ton of fun cooking, playing with shaving cream, Skyping everyone, and making ants-on-a-log (aka bugs on a branch). We went back to school today, but it is FRIDAY!

Snowed In

We have almost 15 inches of snow - which means SNOW DAY for us. Ollie got to stay up and read books with Daddy. He made pudding - and ate it. He played pull the tractor out of the snow with Mommy. Not pictured - black bean brownie making, basketball playing, hide-and-seek, and Candy Land. He stayed in his jammies all day. And guess what? - another snow day tomorrow!! Pictures to come!
