New Jersey - my phone

We have three sources for pictures this year, so I'll start with my phone. We had a wonderful trip. The kids were so good on both the drive there and back. 

The first night we stopped in Washington, PA for a rest and dinner. 

Then on the way to Ocean City, we stopped at a toy convention. The kids and Wes were in heaven. 

Finally we made it!

Ballet canceled

"Where is everyone?"

Pen and I went to our first Mommy/daughter ballet class. Unfortunately, there were not enough students, so we have to take a different class. Sad face. Here are some Penny poses. 

That's not a ballet position Pen. I have to sort out all the New Jersey pictures. I will post soon!

Okla-time

We had another wonderful trip to Oklahoma to visit the fam. 

Ollie got a new Lego set which he and JJ finished in just a few days. Penny got a new duplo train. 

Uncle Tyler, Dick, and Ginny came over for a cook out. 

We saw a beautiful rainbow. It even had a  double reflection for a while. 

The kids helped JJ make her own laundry soap for her new washer. 

Dick took us outfit Braums ice cream. 

We made some s'mores on the back porch. Ollie and Penny like their marshmallows golden. 

We had a great trip and can't wait to come back in July.

Radish Harvest

Penny wanted to plant radishes this year next to brother's carrots. I think she liked the picture on the seed package. Today, we harvested a bunch! 

Now, will she like how they taste?

Yes!!!

Life cycle Success!

Ollie and Penny found a bunch of green caterpillars while camping at Clinton lake. We took three home in hopes of seeing their metamorphosis. Today we release a butterfly. I think the butterfly is a northern pearl eye.

Prairie Fire

A new museum opened in Overland Park and Mimi and PopPop are members. Today, everyone celebrated Lolo's 5th birthday - without me...I had to work - insert sad face here. They started at Red Robin. The went to Prairie Fire. Here are a few pics from my mom and Wes.
