Lego Club Party!

Ollie had a great time building and racing his creations at the school's Lego Party. It was a fundraiser for our school.

They had three of these bags filled with Lego. 

This is Emmett, the fourth grade teacher's son. They love each other and hang out before and after school daily.

New Short Hair

Saturday mornings with Penny

Spring break edition!  This morning Penny and I sat on the porch and ate oatmeal. She tried to hear how many different birds were chirping and she identified the woodpecker's sound. She is a good girl!  

This is our year.....

Long tube has a spiral ramp. 

Donut with gold rock in hole hangs over tube. 

Foolish leprechaun goes for donut and fall down the long tube. 

Fiendish! 

Our plans for the pot of gold:

Ollie = trip to Lego store

Penny = lemonade

Mom = new car

Dad = new house 

All must be purchased within 24 hours before the gold disappears. Wish us luck!!

March Madness

Ollie and I entered a mother/son basketball tournament this week. Ollie did great!  The games were only five minutes long. He made 4 baskets and I made 1, but we still lost in the first round. He is excited to learn basketball and tells me he wants to take a class.
