Penny's week with JJ

Penny and JJ had some quality time together a few weeks ago. Penny did great!  Everyone was surprised how well she did without her mommy. 

She started the week off with finger and toe nail painting (something her mom won't do). Yellow of course!

There were lots of treats and eats!

Also, lots of Zippy time. Penny and Zippy are best pals for sure. Zip sleeps by her every night.

Benben Ren Fest!

All SEVEN kids had a great time at the Kansas City Ren Fest this year. We went last year but the little ones were too little to enjoy it. 

It was costume day (although we we the only ones). The kids helped me with impromptu costumes. Perfect.

Ollie's T Rex Birthday

Mimi and PopPop took us out to the TRex Cafe at the Legends for Ollie's birthday. Ollie has been scared to go in the front door for years. This was an event!

Last day to be 5

For Ollie's last day as a five year old, he got tacos and popcorn for dinner. 

Ollie is SIX!!

We went to Oklahoma for Ollie's birthday party. He wanted a Godzilla theme. As usually, Wes and I had to make the cake awesome. Ollie was elated. 

Ollie was such a good boy. He was so appreciative of all his cool presents. 

Dick, Ginny and Uncle Tyler joined us for a cook out. Ollie wanted mac & cheese, carrots, celery, and hot dogs. 

We are also really excited to meet Zippy. We are going to take her home for a trial run. She is a sweetie. 

Circus post

We went to the Greatest Show on Earth a few weeks ago. Ollie chose to take Lolo as a special treat. 

Ollie was not feeling well but managed to squeeze out some fun. Candy!

Penny had a good time too! 

She got to try on circus costumes before the show.
