A boy and his bike

Mimi and PopPop bought Ollie a bike today. Then PopPop installed training wheels. Ollie is in love. I had to drag him back in from the 90 degree heat. Go O!

Piano master

Ollie took his first piano class with Ms. Joyce today. 

I liked her right away. Penny was super upset that she was not taking class. Ms. Joyce picked her up and played Twinkle Twinkle Little Star with her. She was thrilled. 

She also teaches a bunch of my students from school. She said Ollie was very musical. He is playing the piano right now. He's writing a song called Music Master and teaching it to Penny.

Ollie was brave enough to do haunted golf for lo's birthday this year. It was hard to get good pics.

New Jersey - my phone

We have three sources for pictures this year, so I'll start with my phone. We had a wonderful trip. The kids were so good on both the drive there and back. 

The first night we stopped in Washington, PA for a rest and dinner. 

Then on the way to Ocean City, we stopped at a toy convention. The kids and Wes were in heaven. 

Finally we made it!

Ballet canceled

"Where is everyone?"

Pen and I went to our first Mommy/daughter ballet class. Unfortunately, there were not enough students, so we have to take a different class. Sad face. Here are some Penny poses.

Okla-time

We had another wonderful trip to Oklahoma to visit the fam. 

Ollie got a new Lego set which he and JJ finished in just a few days. Penny got a new duplo train. 

Uncle Tyler, Dick, and Ginny came over for a cook out. 

We saw a beautiful rainbow. It even had a  double reflection for a while. 

The kids helped JJ make her own laundry soap for her new washer. 

Dick took us outfit Braums ice cream. 

We made some s'mores on the back porch. Ollie and Penny like their marshmallows golden. 

We had a great trip and can't wait to come back in July.
