This year I raced for the Penguins, and Ollie joined me! I ran the 4 mile first, and did pretty well. Type in my bib # 96 to see me. I am excited because next year I will be in a new age group. One benefit of getting older - I guess. Hopefully, I will come in under 10. Ollie and I did the 1 mile next. He LOVED it. He was so proud of his medal. He tells me that next year, he is doing the 4 mile with me. Ollie loves to run, so who knows!

Baby Chickies
My class hatched eggs again this year. I brought the chickies home for the weekend. The kids really had fun with them this year. We decided to have a dollhouse chick photo shoot. Penny would wake up every morning, hear the chicks, and say 'check baby chickies". They were so cute.
Ollie's B-Day
I have not even posted about Ollie turning 5 yet! My buddy is now the big 05! I will put an offical post with likes and dislikes, and a pic with him in his chair later. This is a photo at Dave and Buster's. JJ was in town for a few days, and Dick and Ginny came up for Ollie's big day. We went out the Legends, where we thought we could maybe go to the T-Rex Cafe. It was a no go again this year. "Maybe when I am 6" says Ollie. We had a great time anyway. Ollie is such a lucky kid to have so many people who love him. Happy Birthday, buddy!
Ren Fest with the Benbens
The Benbens were in town last weekend for a visit and to go to the Renaissance Festival. It rained all morning, but luckily the rain cleared out. It was good, muddy fun.
June was not into watching the joust, but she was into messing with her aunt! Junie bug does love me.
Watching the Joust Battle - Lolo has on her butterfly wings.
Ollie and Lennon on the dragon swing (again powered by teenage boy).
Ollie and his mom pretending they know how to do archery - we didn't even hit the target.

Riding the swings that are powered by human teenagers.

Penny's 18 Months
Pennybear is a year and a half! She is 100% her own person. Her favorite saying is "memy turn". She loves playing hide and seek with Ollie and only cheats a little. Her independence is blooming everyday. She is blond which is a surprise to us. Her eyes are still blue with a hint of green. Faves:
Food is French fries or noodles.
Book is The Eyebook by Dr. Suess.
Show is Curious George.
Toy is anything brother has.
Outside game is cozy coupe or running races.
Teeth brushing is still a daily highlight for Penny. She still loves to sing and dance. She is such a silly happy girl. We are so lucky to have our birdie!
