JJ in Town

Grandma JJ came in town for a short visit. It was perfect timing because Wes got an off for a teaching job in fifth grade the day before. She got to celebrate with us. 

We went to mcdonalds and the park. 

Then off to the plaza for some more fun. 

Today, Penny was worn out from all the fun. Here she is coming home from Taco Bueno. 

Mouthful of Metal

Phew! Ollie is all done with dental work for a while. Yesterday, he got a baby root canal and a new spacer put in. 

He was a trooper! No tears or complaints. He is looking up because there is a tv on the ceiling. 

He likes his new pirate teeth!

Our buddy Judah

Our family has a new family to play with! We got to hang out with 4 year old, Judah, for the day. 

He's a cutie! Ollie likes to play Ironman with him, but he and Penny - they like to play rugs?

Ollie took him on spooky thorny trail in our neighborhood. 

He was very brave!

Yesterday morning the kids were dressed liked this to play outside:

They were still cold, so we went inside. 

KB and Avah in town

My friend KB and her daughter, Avah, were in town for a short visit. We jam packed it full of fun. 

First, we went to Crown Center to see a play at the Coterie, but it was sold out. We saw the model trains and played in the green super hero exhibit instead. 

Penny fell asleep and her mom didn't bring a stroller. We took turns holding her. 

Next, Ollie wanted to take Avah to the Nelson art museum which is one of his favorites. 

They had a glass labyrinth set up that was tricky for Ollie. He hit his head twice. 

Finally, we went to Kidscape at the Johnson County history museum. It was really fun and free. 

Lo, Junie, and Aunt B joined us. 

We tried to eat and play outside - it was COLD and rainy. We played a bit in the wet skatepark. 

West Virginia is too far away! They need to live closer. 

Tulsa Aquarium

Ginny was going to take us to the zoo, but it was too hot. We decided to go see the fish instead.
