First Days of School

Ollie is starting a new preschool at Bethany Lutheran this year.  So far, he loves it!  He only has 6 kids in his class.

Penny started her school a few days later.  She only went one day this week, because she has been a little bit sick.  Her teacher, Ms. Joyce - Ollie's old MDO teacher, said Penny had a great first day.  She also told us Penny is just as smart as Ollie was at this age.  Be good Penny!!!

Deanna Rose Daddy Day

The kids have been with Wes since school started.  He took them to Deanna Rose Farmstead last week for some goat feeding and barnyard fun.

Here is Ollie at the new cow milking station.  Below the kids are panning for "gold" or gems.

I am super jealous of these daddy days!!  The kids are growing so fast, and I have to hang out with other peoples' children.  Sigh.

We love the Savages

Ollie and Penny are lucky to have neighbors that are about their age.  Evie will be 2 on Oct. 3rd (Ollie's birthday) and Miles just turned 4.  They have so much fun together!!

Penny Floats

Penny loves to float in the bathtub.  She likes it when Ollie gets out, so she has enough room.  She will lay there for 10 minutes.

Ollie Art

Ollie has been into a show called Artzooka on Qubo channel.  The show has tons of arts and crafts kids can make out of stuff around the house.  He decided to get creative and make something up on his own.  I made him some plastic dough from our favorite concoctions book.  He did the rest.  He even found a bag of sunflower seeds on the counter that I planted in JJ'S garden and used those.  We send the picture to Artzooka, so hopefully his "Makey-man" will be on their website soon!

We love Treyton!

Treyton, Ollie's BFF from JoCo Montessori, invited us to Chuckie Cheese for a playdate.  Those two had a blast playing all the games.  Good luck in kindergarten, Treyton!

Get Together

Old friends of mine and their families came over for a get together this summer.  It was great fun - the kids liked the sprinkler on the trampoline best.  For some reason, I have zero pictures of Joanna and Stacy (just their hubbies).  We must do this more often!
