Drive In

Recently, JJ got to spend 2 weeks with us.  We did A LOT of stuff in those two weeks, but have pics of only our trip to the drive-in.  It was Penny's first movie (Finding Nemo), but she fell asleep in the previews.  We met Aunt B/Lolo/Uncle Jeff there and had a ball.

Penny-bear is already 7 mos.  We love our little Baby Bear (or as Ollie says - Gaegy Gare)  She can almost crawl!  She gets on all fours and rocks back and forth.  She had rug burn on her chin from her many attempts at crawling.  She sits up and talks (growls) for long periods of time.  She is still addicted to the Baby Bjorn.  Ollie is Penny's all time fav.  Her eyes are a cool, deep shade of blue.  Patty cake, This little Piggie, and Itsy-Bitsy Spider are giggling fun.  Penny is very Mommy attached which I love right now.  Big smooch for the little Pen-Pen. 

Lawrence ComiCon

Daddy did the artwork for the annual Fancon in Lawrence this weekend.  Here is Ollie with this year's art. 

As a additional bonus, I remembered a persimmons tree (location undisclosed) that should be producing fruit right now.  We decided to stop and see --------- Jackpot!  Penny did really like the Comicon, but she chowed down on Lawrence persimmons.  Don't worry Aunt B - we will share.

Trip to Harper, KS

 

 Penny had her first trip to Harper last weekend.  We went to Great Grandma Barb's for Great Grandpa Jerry's birthday.  JJ and Popcorn were there as well as GAK, Erica, Vince (not pictured), Dick and Ginny.  Penny had fun playing fish and Ollie LOVED playing with Erica.
